Illustration friday: resolve

This weeks submission for Illustration Friday: resolve.

For some reason, every time i think of the word resolve , i picture some sort of cleaning product, so i decided to appropriate a 1950s type cleaning ad with some personal touches and an updated theme.

Illustration Friday submission: Voices

Here’s my Submission for this week’s Illustration Friday for the theme Voices. This was created in Corel Painter with Wacom Intuos 3 tablet and finished off in photoshop.

I wanted to interpret the theme with more of a psychological approach to the subject, that could lend itself to more of an expressive style without taking itself to serious. I guess its hard to approach a dark topic without coming off as a retarded emo carebare, but I think it works.

umm ok: Menstrual Calendars

Submission for IF: rambunctious

A portrait of my boys as they are the definition of rambunctious, ” difficult to control or handle; wildly boisterous: a rambunctious child.”

This photo was taken during one of their more destructive days where they smothered everything with butter (TV, couch, floor) and then continued on to clean it up by licking it clean…

God knows what goes through their heads, but you can’t help but laugh
